The Four Seasons Hotel Sydney (Formerly The Regent Hotel) is located in the historic Rocks area, and is one of Sydney’s premier hotels. The Four Seasons Hotel Sydney has a fantastic location, within 10 minutes walk of the hotel you can visit the Sydney Opera House, stroll through the Rocks district, or walk to the city centre. Guests are treated with spacious rooms, award-winning dining, and service that anticipates your every request. The hotel has outstanding fitness facilities, a huge pool and their highly acclaimed Day Spa providing Australian herbal therapies and indigenous spa treatments.

The Hotel offers rooms and suites elegantly decorated in a luxurious contemporary style. i stayed in the deluxe city view room, which included spectacular views of the Sydney City skyline (which looks even more fantastic at sunset). Most rooms at the Four Seasons are relatively expensive, but well worth it. I stayed in one of the compartively lower priced of these rooms but was not disappointed. It was comfortable and cosy, while elegant and luxurious.
This room inlcluded a more than comfortable king bed, armchair, built in desk with occasional chair and two data ports. The bathroom was lavishly decorated with Italian marble and limestone. other facilities in this room included an in room safe, mini bar, twice daily housekeeping, bathrobes, cable television, hairdryers, air-conditioning, heating and some other quality features. There are other bigger and better rooms that are a bit beyond my budget but if you feel like treating yourself i understand the Royal and Presidential Suites are located on the top floor, and offer spacious private apartments with stunning views of the city and Sydney Harbour in the most luxurious rooms in Australia.

Kable's, the Hotel's premier restaurant, offers a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere and enjoys a substantial reputation in a city known for its exciting dining and offers a wide range of cosmopolitan Australian menu choices. The Caban, The Bar and The Cafe are other top notch places for eating.

The Fitness Centre has the most comprehensive facilities of any in the city. It well-equipped fitness area including everything you need to work out (but who wants to do that on a holiday). I prefer just to enjoy the pool and the sauna. you can have a game of tennis if that takes your fancy or enjoy a relaxing massage. Other than that, explore the city!

This place is a great venue for couples to stay more than for families due to the hustle of the central city environment, but i am sure anyone would have fun here. I understand the venue is a popular one for business gatherings as well and i noticed a few conferences going on there. the hotel has meeting and conference rooms and caters for business functions.It is about a half hour drive from Sydney Airport and there are bus transfers available.
