...your visit to Blackpool, at the end of the Golden Mile, opposite the Pleasure Beach and on the seafront you may notice a peculiar pyramid building. Half is given over to the Grosvenor Casino, and the other half is The Sandcastle Water World.
I had actually heard about this after doing a bit of research about tourist attractions in Blackpool. It promised to be one of Europe's largest undercover water parks, sub-tropical conditions, loads of water ... ...would be perfect to relieve the aches and pains. So I was absolutely determined to go, so we did absolutely go on the last day of our holiday.
Walking in I was a little disappointed, there was a very nice, smart and clean café on the right, however on the other side was a pile of tables and chairs and obvious signs of building work. Although it wasn't too dangerous it did make the place look messy and slightly grubby.

...a thing or two about the attractions such as if they are worth the money or nothing more than an anti climax, but the Sandcastle (or water world as it is now called) is the dogs b******s
I have three boys, 19, 16 and 8 and as they have been growing up (you know...as they do) i have had the majority of their birthday partys at the Sandcastle, and all been a winner.
To start with me and the missus used to bundle them into the car, get about three ... ...the door ready to start their party.
It was all pre-booked and cost around the £30.00 to £40.00 mark for the whole party, and that everything for the full day.
We used to take our own drinks and party snacks.
This was to include a full day in the Sandcastle water park, a meal of their choice (Chicken Nuggets, Sausage and Chps, Ice Cream, Coke)
and a keep-sake photo with captain sancastle and drinking cup for the birthday boy/girl.
