However if you happen to be in the area as i am for college each day or if you just want to get out of the central hum of the city (yes ... ...one!)
The whole of the front is windowed and gives a very open and accessable impression. I'm not sure if this'd be quite as appealing in the winter but in the summer time it's lovely and keeps the whole place fresh. This with the vibrant colour scheme inside gives quite a meditteranean feel i think although i think i heard someone say it was polish or something (probably a key piece of information there that i've failed to pick up ... more

However if you happen to be in the area as i am for college each day or if you just want to get out of the central hum of the city (yes a city now! la la la) then this is well worth a visit (although bear in mind tht it doesn't open until midday i don't think - i'll get back to you on that one!)

This is great a sit means there is much space between tables and so no matter how many people you try to cram onto one you never feel like you're in anyone's way. It also means that although there is often quite a few people there it never feels "busy" in the same way as other places might and instead maintains a very relaxed and chilled atomosphere.
I love the toilets here! I really do. I think these have got to be my favourite anywhere i've ever been! Imagine for a moment, and i shall take you on a journey to toilet heaven! You start with the giant door marked in the normal way but behold when you go through a giant narrow big little staircase which takes you up to a lovely landing with such a pretty little view. Then you carry on along the landing into whichever room is best suited to you. In my case it's the ladies which are oh so rustic. Perhaps a bit echoy but i love it! (also if you are a smoker there is a cigarette machine at the bottom of the stairs)
The cost of food here is quite a lot. A sandwich is about £5 which is more than i'd normally pay which is why i don't buy food here! There is a range of food available to you and although it's more than i'd pay on a college lunchtime, it's all very reasonably priced really. The drinks though i think are quite barginous! They do a beautiful hot chocolate and coffee and if you ask for a cup of tea you get a whole pot with a jug of milk and everything which is very reasonably priced and gives about 2 cups.
Here you are waited on which is nice even if you're only there for drinks. Everyone seems very friendly (as with everywhere in Brighton) and unlike some places they never give the feeling of trying to get rid of you. Althogether it's a relaxed friendly place, what more can you ask?
