A good night out

Advantages: Good atmosphere
Disadvantages: None

The Tower Ballroom is situated in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham.
The Saturday night entertainment consists of a disco and a group who play alternate slots of about an hour each. The group are excellent and can perform any type of music very well.
The room is large with a decent sized dance floor so it doesn't feel too claustrophobic even when the place is full, which it invariably is on a Saturday night! There are a number of bars ... more

Amazing

Advantages: the architectual aspect is amazing
Disadvantages: not always garunteed profesional dancers

The tower ballroom is absolutely amazing to see. The whole of blackpool tower is another experience it is just really fantastic. Its for all ages young and old. I think that the great thing about this is that if there is some really profesional ballroom dancers in then the whole place just comes alive. I think this a really amazing experience and the architectual aspect of the building is a must see. If i can remeber rightyl i think it also has a refreshments bar or one not so far away. I think it also has live music from an organ piano and also has seating spread around the dancefloor the the ballroom dancers can be admired. I think the tower is very good value for money and if you are thinking for going to blackpool do not pass up the chance to go the tower. If you do go to the tower please do not miss this exirence the dancers are ...

Review of Tower Ballroom, Blackpool

Blackpool Tower - A place worth visiting

Advantages: The whole day can be spent in the Tower
Disadvantages: Very expensive

The Blackpool Tower is one of the main tourist attractions in Blackpool, situated on the promenade. The Tower was built in 1894 and in height it stands at 158m (518ft) tall, The Blackpool Tower can be seen from other places such as Morecambe Bay and in September the Tower is illuminated which is a beautiful sight. I have visited Blackpool on several occasions and each time I have made a point to go to the Tower, there are a number of activities in the Tower which are suitable for all ages. Over the years Blackpool Tower has changed in many ways and it is as enjoyable now as it was when I first visited Blackpool. The Tower Ballroom - The Tower Ballroom has been in the Tower from 1897, the ballroom is absolutely amazing and has held shows such as Strictly Come Dancing among others, there are also shows held in the Ballroom on certain ...

Review of Blackpool Tower and Circus, Blackpool

A Towering Success And Towers Of Fun

Advantages: Much To Do, Fantastic Views
Disadvantages: Can be Pricy

's fabulous coast. These days the interior building has become one of the biggest attractions Blackpool has to offer alone! As you walk through the town centre or along the prom you will be almost flattened by posters screaming for you to visit Mooky the circus clown in the Tower Circus or waltz along to the Wurlitzer in the Tower Ballroom. Some might say given the advertising you may forget the initial purpose of the attraction was for those to observe views up its 500ft tower! Anyways enough about advertising. I know I am trying to sell this place to you but there is OTT. Should you decide to visit Blackpool tower then you need to work out which is the best way to the entrance. Unlike most Blackpool attractions the tower has two entrances, one facing the town centre opposite HMV and one along the promenade, adjacent to North Pier. If you decide ...
