Advantages: Excellent customer service, immaculate presentation. Disadvantages: We got a good rate, but I think the hotel could be expensive if you don't get a deal.

Firstly, the location - this hotel is right in Trafalgar Square and is a 2 minute walk from the Trafalgar Square exit of Charing Cross station. You could not be more perfectly located for visiting any part of London you can get just about anywhere in Central London fairly quickly from this hotel.

We stopped here on a Saturday night during a quick trip to London. I wasn't sure what to expect as I have previously stayed in 4 star hotels which don't really live up to expectations, but this met every expectation.

The whole hotel is decorated in a very contempory style which I loved. The downstairs bar is really trendy with a fantastic drinks menu although the drinks are very expensive. There is also a roof garden bar which looks out on to Trafalgar Square although this was closed due to extremely bad weather on the night we stayed.
We booked the standard guest room and I wasn't disappointed - it was huge for a London hotel room, the bed was huge and really comfortable with perfect crisp linen. There was a really comfortable easy chair and a choice of magazines to read - Men's Health or In Style. There was also a flat screen TV and a DVD player! We didn't have time to watch a DVD but I though this was an excllent feature. There was also a CD player which was great for playing music while we were getting ready to go out.
The bathroom had a lovely deep bath and powerful shower, it was also well equipped with complimentary toiletries and robes, slippers etc.
We didn't have break fast as we'd booked on a room only basis and we didn't want a large breakfast meal. instead we nipped to Pret a Manger (a couple of doors down) and grabbed a snack.
We also didn't use the leisure facilities, although I know there was a 24 hour gym available.
Check out was 12.00 pm but we weren't leaving until later, the hotel stored our baggage for us. I know this is quite standard, but again the staff gave me absolute confidence in the system and I knew our bags wouldn't end up lost etc., it was also the feeling they constantly exuded that nothing was too much trouble.
This hotel was brilliant - I just wish we'd stayed longer.
Advantages: lovely hotel Disadvantages: a tad pricey!
...Location, location, location....
As the name suggests in is located in Trafalgar Square in London and is easily accessible by tube. First Impressions
The seting of Trafalgar square is impressive in itself but the hotel is set in a lovely old building in the south west corner. When stepping inside though there is a sharp contrast as you are hit by a truely modern and chic surrounding. It would be fair to say that this is not your standard Hilton.
... ...a matter of minutes. The reception desk is a sort floating glass desk just next to the hotels large downstairs bar. The reception staff were really helpful and I have no complaints whatsoever.
Rooms
Very modern and contemporary. I loved the rooms here - They were quite minimalist in neutral tones. The bed was huge (Very comfy!) with a large oak headboard that spanned nearly the whole wall. The chairs are also modern and ergonomically designed, ...
