The Trafford Centre (with its own junction on the M62) is probably one of the greatest features on the landscape of the Greater Manchester Area.
Its Great Glass Domes can be admired for miles and deffinatly is-not 'a great carbunkle on the back-side of humanity' as some would have it. Outter-town shopping developments have recently come in for a lot of stick...and in fact most new developments have now been banned.... so thank god this one got through on time.
The Trafford Centres great glass domes and gothic pillars arte a site to see in themselves and do great justice to the retail development to which they enclose. Great thought has gone into this development (that cost over 600 million pounds) and a great days shopping and sight-seeing is to be had by any prospective visitor.
The Trafford Centre is the Home of the largest branch of Selfridges outside of london and fashion takes pride of place beneath the roofs of this gem in the crown of the North West of England.
There are also the greatest collection of resturaunts of different countries and cooking styles to be found anywhere beneath ione roof anywhere-else in europe and this is besides a full multiplex cinema end entertainment facilities.... in fact I am not going to tell you any-more...Just visit...Parking is easy and if your in a wheelchair then dont worry...you'l be well catered for.

Advantages: Loads of shops under one BIG roof. A great day out for the whole family. Disadvantages: Can get VERY busy, so stay away if you get claustrophobic.
