experience when I stayed there! Last, the Posada Belen is very reasonably priced (a fraction of what I would have paid if I stayed in a major chain hotel).
When booking the Posada Belen, I mentioned in an email that I wanted to take a tour around Guatemala. Francesca and René responded that they could arrange a week's tour for me (the Guatemala Classic Tour), which was truly wonderful. It was a comprehensive tour of Lake Atitlan, Antigua and Tikal. The tour was very flexible and was arranged according to my schedule and my needs, and it was always with small groups of people. The hotels on the tour were all excellent. I am very grateful to Francesca and René since they arranged a truly marvelous tour for me. Additionally, they arranged airport transfers and for a taxi to take me to the 2 best museums in GuatemalaCity.

Location - The Westin Times Square hotel is conveniently situated at 43rd Street on 8th Avenue. It stands in the middle of the broadway district with approximately 40 theatres offering a variety of shows within walking distance. There are many shops, and entertainment facilities within metres of this hotel and it is only a few blocks walk to the Empire State Building and Macys. If you want to catch a cab back from Macys with all your shopping it only costs about $5 to get back though really isnt that far to walk. Ground Zero is a $12 taxi ride away and there is a large discount store located directly opposite ground zero where a few bargains are to be found. There is easy access to subways and is only a couple of blocks away from Penn Station and Grand Central station. It is an approximate taxi ride of about 45 minutes from JFK airport ...
Advantages: Gorgeous rooms and decor, friendly staff Disadvantages: Stay here for a treat as it is more expensive than other hotels.

Every couple wants their honeymoon to be special and it took a lot of planning to decide where my new husband and I were going to stay on our tour of the United States. Our first destination was to be San Francisco and we did quite a bit of research ourselves, as well as taking advice from our long haul specialist at Thomas Cook. We wanted something central, near to a tram stop for easy accessibility and exploration of the Wharf district, somewhere near some of the famous stores but most importantly, somewhere where the staff would make us feel special on our first couple of nights as a married couple.
The Westin St Francis seemed to be the only hotel that met all those needs and I have to say we weren't disappointed one bit.
