This is probably the best hotel i have ever stayed in! Maybe that's because it was the first 5 star one i've been to, or maybe it's because it's just that great! I stayed in the hotel for a work conference in May. The staff were amazing and helped out no end with various problems we had to do with our conference (none of which was their fault i must add) and it was the perfect venue for an event. As we were there over a Polish bank holiday, we also got an amazing deal on the conference facilities.
On a personal note, the rooms were huge, the bathrooms amazing and breakfast brilliant. We also had a buffet lunch which was out of this world. Every possible item of food you could imagine and some of the most amazing desserts i have ever seen.
The restaurant, bar and foyer were very impressive, as well as the suspended glass staircase from the 1st floor to ground floor. When we were there, there was even a car parked in the foyer!
The reception staff, conference staff and concierge were all great and the location was really handy for exploring the beautiful old town.
But the highlight of the hotel has to be the lift which is clear glass on one side, overlooking the city. Your stomach actually drops as your plummet to the ground floor. I rode up and down it a few times just for fun!
