Prior to Executive Decision's release, Aikido superstar Steven Seagal had churned out a fair few unorthodox action movies -- fair enough, most of them were bad, but everyone kind of knew who he was. So, in 1996, a time when Seagal's chubby face was used heavily for advertising his latest movie with Kurt Russell, we began thinking that this was just another opportunity for him to kick some serious arse, right?
Yes, but how wrong our pre-conceived thoughts were. Actually -- spoiler alert -- Steven Seagal ends up dying in this film rather early, before the main action has even begun. It's actually quite a pathetic state of affairs, and you begin to wonder why the hell he was cast at all. Location
The De Bradelei Wharf in Dover, is located in Cambridge Road which is just off the main A20 dual carriageway. It is only a ten inute walk from the train station and a fifteen minute walk from the main bus station. It is about a five minute walk from Dover Town Centre market square.

This shopping outlet is built in the historic Wellington Dock area of the town which is just behind the sea front with ample pay and display parking. If you buy something in store, the cost of your parking will be refunded.
The cost of the pay and display is £2.50. There are plenty of disabled parking bays too.
The entrance is constructed on decking which runs the full length of the complex on one side.
Here you can sit outside and enjoy the hanging baskets which are put out in the summer months.

Embassy Suites
On a recent visit to California, I was booked into this hotel because it was close to places I had to visit for work.
The hotel itself is only a short drive from the airport (it took about half an hour in a hire car, and not knowing where I was going) and is located in La Jolla which is apparently quite an affluent area, featuring banks and houses and hotels as well as restaurants and a rather nice shopping mall.
It's easy to drive into the hotel and should you ask for it there is valet parking in the high rise car park, but I just parked round the back of the hotel.
