I am writing his review from my WhiteHarthotel room and in my opinion this is quite an above average hotel.
I arrived here with my family (Mum and Dad) yesterday. It was pretty easy to find and get here from Leeds where we spent the day out, just off the A15, but in the next 2 hours when we check out we will be taking the A46 to return home (Reading). Upon arrival we were greeted by very pleasant reception staff who knew a lot about the local area. Asking about local restaurants they informed us about the various Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, English Pubs and all about the restaurant they have which was very helpful. Even though a fair few must ...
Advantages: Good setting, salubrious interior Disadvantages: expensive, poor service
Despite living in Lincoln, I have only the one experience of the WhiteHart. My cricket club had it's annual presentation dinner there last year.
Location
Set in the beautiful, historic uphill Bailgate area in the city centre, The WhiteHart is in the shadow of the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. This means it is in the upmarket area of the city, meaning that the prices are higher than if it were elsewhere in the city.

Food
The food was not the highest quality - indeed for the price we paid it was distinctly below average. The starter ...
