Whitehart Hotel - Salisbury Rating = 3 Star *** I have chosen to write a review on this Hotel as in the area I live in it has quite a good reputation. I have stayed in the Hotel a few times and have held a Birthday Party here for my mothers 60th. Review of Macdonald White Hart Hotel, Salisbury

A real gem in the heart of the Cotswolds

Advantages: Delightful old hotel, friendly staff, reasonable prices, great food
Disadvantages: None at all

found in the area, so I took a random stab in the dark and clicked on one, Moreton-in-Marsh. The page it took me to detailed a little bit about the local area and listed the hotels and guest houses that are there... not many (3 hotels I think). The first hotel I rang said they had no rooms available for that weekend so I called the Redesdale Arms, who told me that they only had an executive double available. I snapped it up! Redesdale Arms Hotel The Redesdale Arms Hotel is a magnificent old Inn, dating back to at least 1661 and my first impressions on seeing the hotel from the outside was that it was exactly what I was looking for. Most of the buildings in the area were built from Cotswold Stone, and the hotel was no different, it had a very olde world feel about it and is situated prominently on the main road through Moreton-in-Marsh ...

White Hart Hotel in Lincoln

Advantages: Close to Historical Landmarks, Friendly Staff, Good Rooms, Stylish
Disadvantages: Expensive Breakfast, Some parts need Refurbishment

I am writing his review from my White Hart hotel room and in my opinion this is quite an above average hotel. I arrived here with my family (Mum and Dad) yesterday. It was pretty easy to find and get here from Leeds where we spent the day out, just off the A15, but in the next 2 hours when we check out we will be taking the A46 to return home (Reading). The hotel provides their own parking just round the side of the hotel, with a small bay which cars strictly shouldn't stay in at all, but seems to be used by taxis to drop people off. Upon arrival we were greeted by very pleasant reception staff who knew a lot about the local area. Asking about local restaurants they informed us about the various Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, English Pubs and all about the restaurant they have which was very helpful.
