The Wilshire hotel is situated in a very beautiful area in Royal Wooton Bassett Swindon SN4 7PB.
We had three nights at £75.00 including breakfast which was quite good value for money.

++The Room++
The room we had was really big, well ventilated, no air conditioning. Room was clean and in in very good condition. The bathroom does not have a bath which I found it a bit disappointing as I had my three month old son with me and he loves his baths.
Rooms are equipped with telephone, flat screen television alarm and ensuite facilities.
In house wifi system, you need to ask for your username and password when checkin in. If you have two laptops for example you will get different username and passwords for each one. Anyway it is included in the room price.

++Facilities++
Indoor swimming pool, a good size pool, children pool, children are aloud swimming every day from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm the swimming pool is actually open from 6.30am tp 9.30pm. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all in working condition. The Spa is opened to the hotel guests and also to the residents on a membership basis.
Big car park supervised by security cameras.
Golf & Golf tuition- The 6,642 yard, 18-hole Lakes Course was originally designed by Peter Allis in 1991 and updated by William Swann in 2006. It is a par-72 jewel that has been sculpted out of the typical county terrain.
It is also a conference centre.
There is also a barber shop, so my husband was very pleased with that, a little shop where you can buy different things like golf equipment, swimming costumes, shower caps etc which is quite helpful.

++The Restaurant++
Well the restaurant looks really nice designed, the breakfast is really nice with plenty to choose from. Full english breakfast, cereals, juices, toast your own bread, and cookies. I give the breakfast a 10.
Now the staff who serve the breakfast (seem to the same every day while I stayed there), ehh a different story, they just would not give you a smile at all. Also when I wanted a second cup of coffee I had to go to the bar as they keep the coffee pot on the shelf at the bar and they will pour it for you so I found that quite drastic as all guests who wanted a second cup of coffee they needed to go to the bar and had a second cup, if you want a third one you will be embarrassed to go again so they win!

++Room Service++
The room service menu is quite expensive but well that's everywhere, however there is a £4 tray charge reason why I did not have the room service. I think if you are in a business trip that's fine if the company pays but when you go holiday you want to spare as much money you can those days.

++Family Friendly++
YES

General a nice hotel I will recommended it, staff a little bit stressed out but if you don't mind that then it is a quite good quality hotel with an outstanding view all around.
