Advantages: A well paced and interesting read Disadvantages: Not for everyone, topics include some domestic violence
The cover of this paperback edition is emblazoned ?The New Novel from the bestselling Richard and Judy Book Club author?.
Personally, that just tells me that the author may have a popular and fairly accessible style and the book is likely to be modern fiction. I do know a lot of people who would be put off by the R&J reference, people who seem to conflate ?popular? with ?trash?.
If they reached that conclusion and did not read ?Chasing Windmills? they would miss out on an enjoyable and engaging read.
I have not read ?Love in the Present Tense?, an earlier book by this author and one of the books selected for the Richard and Judy Book Club. Advantages: Best Party Island Ever !!!! Disadvantages: No Airport, but there is an airport on Santorini another island an hour and half cheap boat journey from Ios
This is a wonderful, mad, party island. Ideal for backpackers and students (the younger people).
Even thought there is not an airport on IosIsland there is on Santorini which is approx 1hour and half from Ios via boat. And the boat only costs approx £5.
Peak season for Ios is between the months of Jun - Sept.
Ios is like a paradise island, with sandy beaches clear blue sea. Watersports are available on Mylopotas beach.
The village comes to life in the evenings it is the hot place for entertainment and food.
For food visit Lord Byrons, the best greek tavern ever and for partying go to Flames bar first and then just go with the flow after them 'sex on the beaches'.
IOS is a must for every in their twenties !!!!!
Why not visit the website 'Ios Party Island' for further information.

lReleased on Deck Cheese Records, a venture from the writers of Big Cheese Magazine, ?With Windmills Turning Directions? is the first full-length release from the south coast sextet NoComply, following the critically acclaimed release of the ?Your Life (Is Your Direction)? EP. Their unique blend of punk rock, ska and metal, with their two-man brass section and a talented (and female) lead singer in Kelly Kemp was released earlier this year and the band are just about to embark on a tour of central Europe. (For more information on the band see my review on NoComply in general: [LINK])

What a way to introduce yourself to the listener ? commencing with screaming (and kind of painful sounding) vocals over the top of a hammering drumbeat, before the immediate entrance of the horn ...
