Theo's Restaurant, Cape Town

For our first dinner in Cape Town, one of the suggestions by our guide was Theo's restaurant on Beach Road, which was walking distance from where we were staying. My heart sunk as we approached and I saw that it billed itself as 'Grill - Butcher - Seafood', I'm vegetarian and figured I would struggle. It was a Saturday night but not especially busy. Theo's Restaurant is located on the seafront in Cape Town's premier location, Camp's Bay. This fantastic restaurant is renowned for it's seafood (having won best seafood restaurant several years running), and hangs it's own meat for top quality steaks. It has an extensive menu, serving everything from homemade burgers and pasta dishes to seasonal game and fresh line-caught fish.
