So as you can see a lot happened in the past few hounded years, actually it was a lot more but I could write another review on that.
Now as I promised some things to do and see in Prague.
It is always good to plan the few days while in Prague. As Prague have quite a lot to see.
You can't miss Prague castle and the old part of Prague. The best thing to do is to get a tram no. 22 which you can get in place called Narodni Trida (pronounced as: Na-ro-dnee Tree-da ) You will go 7 stops and you will get of at stop called Prazsky Hrad (Prague's castle)
That is where your trip starts, you will see the Prague's entire castle and when you finish you can walk down through Nerudova Street (famous street where most artist and famous writers lived) on this street is a restaurant call "u Sesti svabu" This is medieval restaurant where you can get the most traditional Czech food. You can order whole Piglet which will feed up to 25 people.
On the bottom of Nerudova Street you will walk ahead and join Charles Bridge.
The bridge is decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries, most of them baroque-style, erected around 1700. and it is the oldest bridge in Prague.
If you want to Visit this Bridge be prepared that the bridge is very busy. But if you want to get the romantic and real feeling of this bridge, try to get up early in the morning and walk across it when is sunrise. You would find the true feeling and trust me it is unique.
One thing that not many tourists know is that if you stand in a middle of the bridge and you shut your eyes you will feel a lot different. Nobody can describe what feeling is it but it's very nice and welcoming.
Carry on with your journey……….. walk across the bridge an you will walk in street called Karlova Street (Charle's street) you will find a lot of souvenir shops (but if I was you I wouldn't buy any of it because it is overprized ) if you want some souvenir than go to Tesco store in Narodni trida it is 4 floor building that offers all sorts.
Charles Street will take you to Old town Square where you can get a drink and enjoy the astronomical clock each hour. The highlight of this beautiful construction is the hourly procession of the Twelve Apostles; every hour on the hour, a small trap door opens and Christ marches out ahead of his disciples, while the skeleton of death tolls the bell to a defiant statue of a Turk.
To step into the Old Town Square in Prague is to journey back in time, 600 or 700 years.
Carry on in your journey to Wenceslas square where you can enjoy shopping and lot of different bars and restaurant. On the top of Wenceslas is the National Museum which gives you most of the history of Prague and lot more.
This was the ultimate rout that not many people follow like this you can see most of the history in short amount of time. Obviously there is lot more to see like The Petrin Tower. A small imitation of the Eiffel Tower, Petrin Tower was built in 1891 for the Jubilee Exhibition. It is a nice day out. The place is surrounded by parks you can take a cable car up the hill. The Petrin hill is also offering "The Hall of Mirror" where you can see yourself in different shapes and sizes.
Another place to see is the Old- New synagogue Built around 1270 and Europe's oldest synagogue, one of Prague's earliest gothic building. According to legend the scholar and writer Rabbi Low hid the Golem, a creature he made from clay and brought it to life by placing a magic stone tablet between its eyes, among the Old-New Synagogue's rafters. This place is located in Old Town (Josefov)
You can also have a romantic Dinner on Boat Bohemia, which takes you around the Prague's, rive (Vltava) where you can enjoy the beauty of the sightseeing.
Or even better you can hire a pedal boat and explore it your self (only available in summer) but without dinner of course :o)
To sum up, Prague is a One of the cities which aloud you to be a free and it offers plenty of things to do, so you can never say that you were bored.
So when you will go to Prague make sure you have a good time.
Remember if you have any questions about Prague, I am more than happy to help
So don't forget your good pair of shoes, as you will do a lot of walking but, than again probably lot of eating and drinking as well :o)
Thank you for reading this review I hope it wasn't too boring.
