There are a number of theatres and cafe's and some shops with the train and tube station having great regular links to almost all of central London.
The Staff ... ...the gentlemen on reception even walked me to a nearby building I was looking for.
The food and drink - there is a lovely little cafe at the back, quiet and private, coffee and small meals and snacks reasonably priced. There is also a restaurant, more formal and childrens options available.
However, the nearest grocery store is M&S a good 20 mins walk away...and that's it.

It's reasonably priced, family friendly but not orientated and central. Don't bother tying to get a cab though!!
