...to go with some reviews, Thomas Cook Airlines, here's yours. I will divide the review into UK Pre-Flight, Outbound Flight, Overseas Pre-Flight & Inbound Flight as I there are so many elements I feel I need to mention to get a fair and balanced review. USEFUL INFO: Flight No: TCX 334 Dates 6/09/2006 & 14/09/2006 From: Manchester Terminal 2 To: Rhodes Plane: Boeing 757-200 (235 Seats) UK PRE-FLIGHT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check In ********** We had ...
...to enlist the service of Thomas Cook Airlines to obtain our tickets. At Manchester Airport, Thomas Cook have a dedicated check in area in Terminal 2, on our departure day it was check in desk 2-7 and you apparently could check in for any Thomas Cook flight departing on that day, according to the above desk TV monitor. Each desk is seperated by fabric barriers. As we had arrived at 1pm for a 7pm flight, this was very handy. Around the queuing area, ... Read review

Thomas Cook-ing it to Canada
Review of Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) by Moonrising

Advantages: Cheap, clean and cheerful
Disadvantages: Not for those who want to bring half their house in their luggage!

...I was pretty happy with Thomas Cook! I flew with them from Gatwick (London, England) to Vancouver in Canada and back last summer. One of the weird things about this is that it doesn’t seem to be possible to book on these flights through the Thomas Cook website! I booked via Canadian Affair. I’ve done a separate review on them if you want to look it up. I also paid for an upgrade to 'Premier' class and I suppose partly because of that check-in was ...
...I had been to the Thomas Cook desk to check what was happening. They said they’d try and get a mushroom free meal put on for me. On the plane though they didn’t seem to sure if this had happened and there were no ingredients listed on my pasta. So I had to do the poking routine, which I hate… On the way back it was worse. No Thomas Cook counter in Vancouver… On the plane I asked if I could get one the standard options since the vegetable curry they ... Read review

Long haul, not a problem with Thomas Cook
Review of Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) by Tonyc7

Advantages: Great service, comfortable seats
Disadvantages: the usual weight restrictions

...(I never knew they did), Thomas Cook have now bought their own fleet of Aeroplanes, and have been running them now for a few years after buying out a German Airline company. They use the fairly new Airbus A330, which boasts a 35 inch seat pitch, which is the best out of any scheduled or chartered airlines flying to Canada, and thats just for Economy class. On boarding the plane, you are greeted by the very smart looking stewardess's in their blue ...
...especially with Canadian Affair and Thomas Cook, and would recommend to anyone thinking of a trip to Canada (they do east coast flights to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax as well). I now regularly receive the newsletter with their tempting low cost flights, in mail form and to my e-mail box, and it probably won't belong before I'm off there again. So check the website for the latest prices, and get yourself over there now for the spectacular ... Read review

Holiday to Crete Review 1 - The Airline
Review of Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) by sirbrooke

Advantages: Light and Bright, Good Reputation, Friendly and extra smiley crew!
Disadvantages: Little legroom, OK Meals

...was we were in the Thomas Cook Travel shop and buying the tickets for a fortnight. BACKGROUND As part of the Thomas Cook package we were departing from our chosen airport, London Gatwick Airport (LGW) and were flying with Thomas Cook, a new experience for me but I have heard great things about them, none to be doubted. We arrived three hours before departure (very early, and I thought it was only long-haul flights that had three hours, but this ...
...times. And the safety demostration. Thomas Cook have there own safety demonstration of which they play on the TV screens and afterwards run through the dull but meaning full explanations of what to do if the oxygen in the air cabin fails and if we have an emergency landing in the water, lets face the facts guys, we are likely to die! So far so good! The safety demonstration was indepth and very thorough and the cabin attendants seemed happy and ... Read review

Cattle class all the way.
Review of Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) by mkg87

Advantages: Cheap.
Disadvantages: Most cramped seats of any airline I've ever flown with.

...back in April 2006 with Thomas Cook Airlines. As we holiday in the northern part of the island and usually fly with the grossly overpriced Cyprus Turkish Airlines, this was the first time that we had chosen to fly to an airport in the south with a cheaper charter flight and then cross the border into the north, all in the name of saving quite a lot of money. Perhaps if you are five foot tall and don't really put much stock in an expectation of an ...
...resolved not to fly with Thomas Cook again. First, the legroom (or, more accurately, the lack of it). I am 5' 10'', and even when sitting quite straight in my seat, my knees were pressing uncomfortably against the seat in front. I dread to think how uncomfortable it must have been for anyone over six foot. I know that budget airlines squeeze in as many seats as they can possibly fit in, but when you get on the plane and see for yourself just how ... Read review
