London Gatwick - Dalaman Turkey returning 03 September. . I wont go into a lengthy review as most of my comments mirror previous opinions. . Slightly old 757-200 with normal charter seating configuration. Fairly punctual and kept well informed of progress from flight deck. Flight crew were pleasant and professional. Food was rather dire. . I main complaint applies to all charter airlines and not just Thomas Cook - the cost of all the extra's. I roughly worked out that if you request an extra leg room seat, meal, headset and had a couple of drinks each way, wine etc.. this could all come to around 40 pounds plus for return journey. It seems that anything that moves they will charge you for. I wonder what the next wheeze will be - they are already touting scratch cards. . All in all I found Thomas Cook no different to other British charters. If possible I would always choose a schedule flight. With all the hidden costs, a schedule flight may not work out much more than a charter.

I agree with Clare - plus the fact you are doing a review on Thomas Cook airlines, and therefore your review should have been more specific to to them, rather than about charters in general! Welcome to Ciao! :)
