General Comments
I flew on the same Thomas Cook flight last year, and it was one of the best flights I have ever been on, but this year it was a different story.

4 Days before we were due to depart we got a call from Thomas Cook telling us the flight times had changed.
When we got our new tickets we could see that the aircraft had been changed from an A320-200 to a Boeing 757-200, which we thought would be better.
We thought wrong! On the Sunday we got to the airport and went to check-in, to be handed a letter telling us that when they changed the aircraft they didn't know that it was already out. So we had a 3 hour delay waiting for the aircraft to come back in. When we boarded the aircraft it was not clean. The seats were in a very bad condition. The TV's on the aircraft didn't work, and all you could see was a pink background on everything you were watching. The flight finally took off. The pilot didn't speak to us about anything. We finally landed at about 3am in the morning, and everybody on the flight was tired. Then a big long bus journey to Protaras and our hotel.

The journey back was worse. We got to Larnaca airport to find all the duty free shops SHUT, so we had nothing to do but wait and wait for Thomas Cook.
We finally got called to the gate and started to board. Only to find again that the plane had not been cleaned. Just walking up to the aircraft it looked like the plane jet engines had been replaced with some old red casing from Virgin Atlantic. When we got on the plane, again the TV's didn't work properly. The safety demo had to be shown by the cabin crew which I have never seen before. After the meals I was sick, and the cabin crew were on their way down. I told them I had been sick and asked what I should do with the bag. She looked at me and went "put it in the bin" then looked around the plane and said to me "this plane doesn't have air vents", and it was about 40C on the plane. This has been the worst flight I have ever had, and I will now avoid flying with Thomas Cook.
