Thomas Cook, one of the many airlines I have used flying to Turkey. Previously reading some of the reviews, I was shocked! A few were critising the airline, I honestly couldn't do that after my expeirnce,
Flying outbound we flew on a My Travel Airways aircraft. My Travel is to be completly changing to Thomas Cook sometime this summer. Outbound flight was on time, had no problem with seating, cabin crew were extremly plesent, no delays no luggage problems, good flight.
Return flight, we flew with Thomas Cook, on a Thomas Cook Aircraft. The aircraft was huge! Well in my opinon as I am used to cramped squashed-up tatty Turkish Airline carriers. Flight was surprisingly on time. Plenty of check-in desks open. As we came on I was overwhelmed by the friendlyness and plesentness of the cabin crew. At least four young Air Hostesses said hello and welcomed us whilst we were getting seated. It feels so nice to be welcomed. The aircraft was some sort of beoing. Pilot was informative, introduced everyone to the cabin crew, as I said before, most plesent people I had ever came across, as gave us regular updates. As usual our party opted not to have a meal, however, most of our party regretted it later by the lovely smells. I didn't as Im abnosmic hahaha. I chose not to watch the inflight movie as I had had already watched Shrek 3. However, Shrek 3 was pretty new at the time so at least they provide good entertainment. As we were landing I was desperate for the toilet, and we were hit with pretty bad crosswind, could you image how that feels? Ooh its not good. However the air host was quite understanding when i rushed out my seat and demanded the toilets unlocked, even though the aircraft haden't came to a 'complete stop'. He even fetched my bag from the overhead locker as I couldn't squeeze past everyone to get back to my seat. What wonderfull service and an excelent flight. I saw the pilot whilst waiting embarking the aeroplane, and I told him about my situation. He was unbelievably apoligetic, what a nice man he was.
The best flight Ive ever had. Most would say 'why on earth is that a good flight?' Well when reading airline reviews, you have to remember, differnt people have differnt standards. You will probably find most of the bad reveiws of this airline are made by people who arn't too used to budget airlines. However, I am used to tatty, unorginised, shabby Turkish Airlines. So to me, this was a very good flight.
