I recently have taken a package holiday to tenerife form Birmingham with Thomas Cook and so i am in a position to comment on their service.
There were delays on both outbound and inbound flights. 14 suitcases were lost on our outbound flight. The company policy is that if one bag is lost the whole cohort on the plane must wait whilst it is found or the forms filled out. This wasted 3hrs of our holiday going there. On the return journey we had a 'security threat' and 3 passengers refused to fly. Everyone on the plane had to get off row by row to identify their bags on the runway then we all had to get back o again. Grown men were in tears and no attempts were made to explain the situation properly about the so called security risk.
Overall, the service was very poor. The cabin crew are a nuisance and make no attempt to sort out difficult situations due to poor trianing. The planes are cramped and have little leg room and aisle space. All they are good for is getting you there and back eventually in my opinion. I will not be using their service again.
