I have booked via a thomas cook agency on a number of occasions and have always found the staff helpful and more than ready to throw brochures at me. Indeed we have had some quite complicated arrangements to make at times and they have always managed to deliver what we wanted. The prices have been good but now I think by shopping around you can get a better deal. Thse only problem is common to most travel agencies in that the late deals advertised in the windows do not seem to really exist as they are always just sold out.
