Our local airport is Coventry at best nothing more than a bus station with security but that is good, if you prepare your self for this then Thomson Fly can save you all the headaches that larger airports can cause. Firstly you npark your car right outside if you prebook a space and check in is usually only one and a half hours before take off and when you have left your cases ther is a smallish caffe/shop to wait in. Be prepared this is quite expensive so we always take some snacks and drinks from home to keep costs down and never buy anything on the plane. When its time to board there are only small queues as there is only one plane boarding and that is only caused by the added security of recent times and there is no waiting for a slot on the runway once the doors are shut you are away. When returning there is only one plane to unload so no time is waisted there are the usual security checks then you are out of the airport into your car and away. We have used this airport 7 times and our record is 45 minutes from landing to being on the road out of the airport amazing.
