Designing the travel schedule all by yourself is a moderately exciting thing .It can help ignoring the time restrictions of the travelling agencies and get more interaction with the natives. This August, I went to Tibet with my mother and three of her friends, but I planned the whole trip schedule, so may be the experience can help you know more about Tibet..
THE PORTALA PALACE
"if you don't go to potala palace ,you will never understand how pious our tibetans are ."said one Tibetan guide.

Advantages: good companion, friendly dog Disadvantages: can be fussy eaters, are suseptable to eye trouble
We had our Lhasa from a pup until he died at age 14!! Very good companion and also protective, after all this in inbred as they were used to protect the Tibetian monks. They do need alot of grooming, but because we did not want to show him we had his fur cut fairly short and his belly shaved, as he seemed to get hot. He always liked to lie on something cold, lino floor, patio etc. Ours was an unusual colour, black and white and a little larger than the average. You do have to check their eyes, we did but still we left it too late and he had to have an eye removed, they can suffer from eye ulcers. They do like to be bossy but can be trained. As he got older he also had to have a new hip and we didn't have him insured and in the end it cost alot of money, so please DO take insurance out on this breed. They also love being with people even ...

Lucky for me, a lady at my old job had some Lhasa Apso puppies. I did a bit of research as I didnt want a dog that would grow too big and wanted a breed with a nicer temperament. I went to go and view the puppies and luckily they had 1 left, a little girl. She cowered behind her mum for a bit but soon came out for some attention! She was a little beautiful ball of fluff.
We named our ...
