Advantages: great food, friendly staff, lovely room Disadvantages: a bit of a walk from kitzbuhel town
...in the lounge.
Staff were extremely friendly and polite and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The receptionist is also very helpful.
The only disadvantage i would say is that the hotel is a 20 minute walk from kitzbuhel town, although the hotel operates a free minibus into town every evening between 8 and 8:30pm. There is also a bus stop situated directly in front of the hotel. A bank with atm, cafe restaurant and a big sports store is located 6 minutes away and 10 minutes away are two supermarkets.
I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Kitzbuhel though if you are after a more central location with nightlife i would suggest a hotel in Kitzbuhel town....

Advantages: Great skiing for intermediates, fantastic night life, brilliant resort Disadvantages: Some queuing for lifts, crowded buses
...I have just come back from a fabulous week's skiing in Kitzbuhel. I had visited the resort over 10 years ago and was interested to see how much I could remember and how much had changed.
Kitzbuhel is a world famous resort situated in the Tirol, Austria. It is a charming place with cobblestone streets and painted buildings. The resort itself is not very high lying at only 2,600 feet above sea level but still has a pretty good snow record, we were really lucky as all the pistes were open and snow conditions were truly excellent.
We booked the holiday with Cristal holidays, flying from Gatwick to Salzburg on a Thomsonfly charter flight. the transfer from the airport took about an hour and a half and we duly arrived at the Sonnenhof hotel, a short walk from the town centre. It was too late to collect our skis and boots on the first evening...

Advantages: The scenary, the mountains, the food, the air - everything! Disadvantages: If you are not a walker, you maybe could get bored - nah! It sometimes rains
...are available to show visitors the highlights but we walked. The horses eyes looked too sad for me to want to burden them further.
Kitzbuhel is by no means large, so it's easy to get to know in a couple of days. It's a great place just to sit at one of the pavement cafes and watch the world go by - and they do! Especially the Italians, Germans, French, Scandinavians but not too many British. In the hotel where we stayed (the Maria Theresia) there were only eight other English guests for the whole of our visit.
So what do you do, in the summer, in Kitzbuhel?
First explore the town itself. The buildings are mostly very old and in a typical Tyrolean style, all slanting rooves and colourful window boxes. What hits you is how everything is so well preserved and the whole town is clean, neat and spotless. It almost looks unreal, too good...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.

I lived in New York City for a few years, but had little experience of its hotels until after I'd moved away. My husband and I stayed in the Library Hotel in late August of 2004 for two nights. After spending a few nights in one of its sister hotels the... more
