Moon Palace - all inclusive luxury

Advantages: An away from it all oasis - that will cater for your every need
Disadvantages: Isolated from main resort

The scale of the Moon Palace is hard to comprehend - we arrived at night and after check in we meandered our way through to our room - it seemed a long way. The walkways to the rooms are covered and uncovered - however the covered ones are laid out in such a way that it is possible to get all the way back to your room without getting wet should it rain. We went in the June and it was prone to the odd shower but then immediately warmed agained. The walkways are perfectly suited for disabled access. The room blocks are gound, 1st and 2nd floor, so lots of ground floor rooms. The rooms are fabulous - a large queen sized bed, a large jacquzi bath at the end of the bed seating area, TV, large bathroom with a very large shower with a seat in it. And all the usual facilities you expect in a hotel of this stature. The doors are not air tight ...

Review of Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Cancun

Agadir

Advantages: Great markets and food
Disadvantages: Harrassment from locals depending on time of year you go

I think Morocco is an acquired taste. I went to Agadir with my mum for a 2 week break (leaving from Glasgow) during the month of December. I chose to go then because I knew it would be a bit quieter. It was my second visit to Morocco, the first having been to the north in the early 80s with my identical twin sister. As my twin and I are both red heads that caused quite a stir among the locals who would constantly ask us if we'd dyed our hair with Henna (and why we were so white!!!). I had a bad experience on my first day down at the beach in Agadir with my mum when a really rude carpet seller just wouldn't take no for an answer. Luckilly for us a friendly local intervened. He was very decent and actually gave us lots of good advice about how to get to more remote, less touristy places. The town of Agadir is split into 2 areas ...

Review of Agadir (Morocco)

Caribbean Village Agador- Agadir - Morocco

Advantages: Fantastic food and entertainment
Disadvantages: Fight for the sunbeds - we just didn't bother!!

Caribbean Village Agador When we booked a two weeks all inclusive holiday in Morocco we didn't know what to expect. It was a part of the world that we had never visited before and we went slightly unsure as to what to expect. We were staying in Caribbean Village Agador at Agadir, and were a little worried by some of the negative reports we had read on Trip Adisor. But we always like to judge a place for ourselves so went along with an open mind. The 'we' in question were my me, my husband and our 11 year old son - as anyone knows who takes away a child of this age, if they are happy so are you!! When we got off our plane at Al Massira airport we were immediatly hit by the heat, certainly a lot different from the weather we had left behind in Manchester! We were quickly through custom control and on our coach to ...
