Time Out At The Gap, Christ Church

Time Out at the Gap is a nice hotel, comfortable, even if not very modern. The swimming pool is nice and clean, good size when not too busy (we went out of seson, in mid-november), it might get crowded during the season. The rooms are clean, but would need refurbishment: updating bathrooms and repainting would be good).
The staff is not always very friendly, which is a shame, as locals are usually very friendly.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, if you don't have a big budget, it is good value for money.
The location is great in St Lawrence Gap, the tourist area of Barbados, with bars, and pubs and lots of retaurants within a walking distance to choose from.
The hotel can book excursions for you, or reserve a cab. They also give out beach towels. All rooms are air-conditionned. Ask for a room with balcony (good size) and pool or beach view.
It is by no means luxury, but it is an acceptable, quiet, 2 to 3 star hotel.
