Visitors to Orlando area will notice that discounted tickets are available from booths up and down International drive, Mercado Centre and also from Guest relations desks in your hotel...
~~~ The System ~~~
What happens is that they are interested in getting you to see a timeshare presentation somewhere in the Orlando locality..they will Safely transport you there in an air condition bus, feed you with you a continental breakfast free of charge, and then give you the timeshare sell or as they call it a presentation....now don't panic it is not a hard sell (Florida State laws forbit this) .... so if you're not interested in buying an apartment after having listened to the presentation then you simply say so, and you are awarded your free tickets or gift, and a lift back to your hotel or the attraction is promtly organised for you..

The free gift or inducement is usually worth attending the presentation for, it could be a classic mickey Mouse Phone which works in the UK or a pair of day Tickets to get you into Seaworld or Universal studios or even 50 Disney Dollars..whatever it is, if you've a spare morning and nothing to do and are fairly strong willed, I'd recommend going for the early morning presentation ( about 0700) you get finished earlier and are in the parks by lunch time ( which is not a bad time to go anyway)

Well we actually did decide to buy a freehold property at Vistanna ( near Downtown Disney) but having said that, it is something that we wanted to do and we love the place, and as a further bonus we got membership of the RCI thrown in for free ( for the first year ) so we were delighted with our purchase..and the cost...well for a 3 bedroom apartment, with balcony, kitchen, laundry / utility room, Jacouzzi in the master bedroom. cable TV in every room ( yes I mean EVERY ROOM ) fully furnished Kitchen, dining room, access to a golf course, swimming pool, discounted residents shop, dining area..for one week a year will cost you a one off payment of around £8000 or £15000 for two weeks a year the only extras on top of this are the yearly management fees for your property, currently around $450 for a 2 week lot, Abbey National in conjunction with First National Bank are on hand to help with finances should you need a hand and normally credit is immediately available to those buying a property, the deal is sealed with the opening and drinking of a cheap bottle of Champagne...
Just be careful and buy only if you want to, otherwise it can be an amusig way of passing a couple of hours and gettina free gift into the bargain..just be careful and think before committing yourself..

the bonus is that from now on all you ever have to worry about is buying a fly drive ticket from the UK to Florida which can vary depending on airlines and time of year from about £200 to around £600 per person....you can even bank your weeks or rent them to someone else....your own place in the Sun......'er well for 2 weeks each year...enjoy
