My family stayed in a Timeshare self-catering exchange apartment at Hotel Plas Dinorwic in Y Felinheli (Port Dinorwic)N Wales, in March 2005.The hotel chef extolled the virtues of a timeshare company based at the hotel. Verbal and written guarantees persuaded me to part with money that I will never see again, as it is probably in Spain with him. Surprisingly but understandably top hotel management sought to distance themselves from this individual by disclaiming all responsibility for what happens in the hotel, denying that F****H***** would have made the guarantees, and stating that his current address is unknown (but any payment can be forwarded!). An investigation by the BBC had to admit failure. A holiday should leave you with happy memories and this one did NOT. I was gullible. One verbal guarantee with FH was that the maintenance fees would be paid.They were not of course.Then that the money will be refunded,its in the post,in 30 days,and so on-still waiting. Written guarantees-by FH for SELECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES to refund monies,or is it SNOWDONIA MANAGEMENT SERVICES -come to nought.When an internet search was done there was a big zero;but now the second SNOWDONIA MANAGEMENT SERVICES shows in a blacklist for "companies that cheat and defraud".Is this a coincidence?FLEXI-CLUB brochures were used that gave an appearance of validity. Final advice:Do an internet search and look for CRIMESHARE (both good and bad about it)and form your own opinion but be careful.Most of timeshare is honest but can be expensive,but some is a scam.

Strangely enough i was informed over the telephone that i have won a European holiday this evening.Was given a phone no and a code, and told i would be given confirmation details in the post.Frankly i am not holding my breath and i am sure it is just a con.I just think it is a pitty that we, the trusting public keep getting fleeced like this.
Hope you did not loose too much cash and you have better luck in the future.
