I visited the Tivoli Gardens at christmas time. If you are looking for somthing extra special I recommend the Tivoli. It is a fantastic family place to visit, even if you are visiting Denmark by yourself or with just your parnter it is something that should not be missed. You purchase your enterance ticket which is approximatly 25 euros per adult. If you go as a family you can get a family one for about 65 euros (2 adults and 2 kids). Once inside there are fairground rides, a ferris wheel from which you are able to see the city of Copenhagen, there are buildings from every country in the world, there are also plenty of places to eat. If you are visiting at Christmas time the entie place is lit up with christmas lights and trees, there are stalls with many different chirstmas decorations ranging from one of a kind items to handmade items to items that can be purchased from many of the shops in the city, and for the kids there are two santa's grottos one at each end of the Tivoli. You need to dedicate at least 3 or 4 hours to have a good look around and to be able to ride on all of the rides. The Tivoli is just across the road from Copenhagen Centeral Station.

Hello! I was in Copenhagen for New Year 2005. We really enjoyed it there but it was cold! Because of the weather we didn't go into Tivoli which is a shame really. I'd like to go back in the Summer and see more of the City. Nicky x

Sorry for the low rating but this review doesn't really tell us what the Tivoli gardens actually are... It needs a lot more adding to it for any chance of higher ratings..
