We arrived in a huge family suite with a queen sized bed and two singles for the children. There was plenty of storage space, and a safe was present in the wardrobe if we wanted it for an additional fee. The room was clean with a lovely balcony, and the beds and chairs were all comfortable, however the air conditioing wasn't great! The bathroom was clean, but it was a bit shabby and the shower didn't work that well, but this didn't bother us too much as there was always plenty of hot water for a bath for all of us. The maid came every day to throughly clean the room and our sheets were changed three times during our week long stay.
The restaurant was very clean and well decorated, and there were always plenty of tables to choose from. Meals were all buffet style, and there was always plenty to choose from. The breakfasts were of a good standard, but were fairly repetitive and the scrambled eggs were to die for! Dinners were always great, something for everyone - and a different theme every night, even my fussy 4 and 7 year olds found plenty to eat with the large choice of dishes available. The cost of drinks to accompany our meals added up over the week,so leave aide plenty of money for this. Buy water outside the hotel as it is quite expensive from the bar, and there is a supermarket within shouting didtance of the hotel.
The swimming pool and surrounding area was always spotless, but I can imagine that it gets quite busy at the height of summer - there were not that many sunbeds available, and there were even fewer umberellas. The pool itself was incrediblty cold, but just about bareable once you are acclimatised!
No entertainment in the evenings meant that we were usually in bed before 10pm, but thats fine if you are going for a quiet holiday. If you want more entertainment, the town centre is a short taxi ride away.
The beach is about a ten minute walk away down a main road and it is lovely and clean, but beware for freak large waves especially if you have small children. Also beware of the frequent sellers on the beach, but we found that with a firm No Thankyou, they were happy to leave you alone. Mcdonalds and pizza hut is within walking distance along the beach if you get bored of the hotel meals!
We did enjoy our holiday here, and we had a fantastic room which made all of the difference, but if you arelooking for a lively hotel, there are better options in the beautiful town of Agadir.
