Disgusting Food, Dirty and Rude Staff

Advantages Quick meal
Disadvantages Poor Food, Dirty Staff
We visited the Toby Inn at Whitchurch Village just outside of Bristol on a Wednesday Night. Sorry not impressed. We had the carvery option, I was going to have the turkey as it looked OK, until I saw it being carved and blood poaring out of it. 'Food poisoning on a plate' I thought. I had the beef which was fatty, but edible. The veggies were either over cooked, swimming in water, or cold. The roast potatoes burnt.
The chef (serving the carvery) was rude (although he thought he was funny) and filthy, nails dirty, apron resembled more that of a butcher than a chef.We should have walked away, I wish we had. I cannot recommend this pub for food.
Bar and Waitresses were OK, but had to wait an age for our bill (restaurant was pretty empty).Needless to say will not be going back!!
