Newquay Experience

Advantages: Nice Place to Visit and to Stay
Disadvantages: just a long car journey t

NEWQUAY EXPERIENCE- Newquay is ideal place for a short break or family holiday there is so many things to see and do in and around and suits all tastes. If it is a Beach holiday you want then Newquay is great because it is situated on the north coast of Cornwall and it is blest with many lovely bseaches which you can surf and laze about on . Also if you are keen on walking there are coastal walks to venture on and while you are walking you will be able to take in the scenary and the breathe taking views around the coast line which I find amazing. There is a variety of places to safe from Hotels ,B&B, Guest Houses, Self Catering and Surf Lodges to choose from and this is depending on the type of holiday you would like to expericience. When I was there I managed to rent out an apartment which was in walking distance to ...

Porth Beach = Pure Bliss

Advantages: Sea View
Disadvantages: A Little Pricey

The blurb on the home page of the Porth Beach Tourist Park, Newquay, states the following: ?Porth Beach Tourist Park is situated in a valley surrounded by open countryside and yet is only 200 yards from Porth Beach. Down one side of the park there is a meandering trout stream, ideal for fishermen of all ages, but if fishing is too strenuous you can sit and watch the water flow and feed the ducks. The beach at Porth is ideal for families - very wide with lots of room to build the biggest and best sandcastles and then to explore the many rock pools. Porth beach is regarded as one of the safest beaches for swimming in the Newquay Area.? I?ve included the comment above because it pretty much sums up what Porth Beach Tourist Park is all about, and now that you?ve got the general picture ? and a feel for the place, allow me to fill in ...

Review of Porth Beach Tourist Park, Newquay

Newquay - beaches - Fistral

Advantages: It's where the cool dudes go
Disadvantages: Not much else around if you are not into sitting on the beach or surfing.

As you enter Newquay you are advised "Some of Europe's finest beaches", but which beach to go to? All the beaches in Newquaqy are sandy and large, here I take a look at Fistral. Fistral - obviously great for surfing why else would they hold the surf competitions there? Car Parking: There is a car park 'on the beach' but it obviously fills up quickly. There is quite a lot of parking areas close by. Parking is pay and display mostly, although some are free. You can get to Fistral without going through the town - head for Pentire, where there is on-road parking overlooking the beach. Shops: There is a small shop on the beach selling burgers/sandwiches/sweets/ice-creams and assorted beach goods. The Headland Hotel is right by the beach and has a small surf shop and (so long as you are smart and clean) a bar and restaurant ...
