...pop down to our local Top Golf in Watford. He already had a membership but i didn't so had to get one whilst i was there. ~~Membership~~ To play at Top Golf you have to be a member. ...~~ The Venue ~~ Top Golf is hidden away but it is fully recognisable because of its white 'tent style' roof like the millenium dome. As a family of Golf lovers we decided to give this a try & I must say I was pleasantly surpised...ok having to become a member before you play is a bit of a pain but the staff were very helpful. We had one game which took the five of us about an hour and a quarter and it was very enjoyable. The facilities are first class with waiter service to your bay if you need it & any technical problems sorted quickly...its a bit like bowling but for golf...!!!!! We followed up the top golf game with a round of adventure golf which is always good for a laugh. All in all 40 quid for the 5 of us and around 3 hours of entertainment.

...went with our children to Top Golf, Watford. She's a member and we used the rest of the families membership this time. I've never been into golf but I loved it - other reviews have gone in to all the technical bits but it is like bowling but for golf - just swipe the ball, hit it (clubs provided although mate did advise what one to use!) and there is the score on the TV behind you. What could be easier!! Afterwards the kids went on the crazy golf ...

Top golf is a great and different day out for all ages! It has recently been improved and has had a refurbishment, making the appointment making and bookings much more relaxed. You are given a buzzer which you take with you and will go off when your bay is free. It has a nice bar area and entertainment for the kids, making the wait (if there is one) that more bearable. It has many options of games to play and isn' t just for people that like golf. ...
