Now, when it comes to Ben & Jerry's I, like many people, expect the very best in ice cream delights. I expect a wonderfully smooth, creamy, indulgent dessert that leaves me staring cluelessly at the bottom of the tub ("how on Earth did I get here...?!?") and once again, I have not been disappointed.
Ben and Jerry Do Yoghurt
Having bought this in one of the big supermarkets, I was completely unaware that what I had bought was actually low fat frozen yoghurt and NOT your typical full-fat ice cream. This didn't really put me off - if anything I though, Great! Now I can eat more of it and feel less guility! Which I did. Oh believe me I did....
The B&J Appearance
The 500ml tub is wonderfully decorated like many of its brothers and sisters in the B&J range - it has its name, 'Strawberry Cheesecake', the B&J logo ...
Advantages: Great taste, lots of cheese, not overloaded with meat. Disadvantages: None.
As I am no longer living somewhere permanently I am staying with my sister and like to keep some meals in her freezer ready for whenever I pop home for a night or two to save me worrying about cooking for hours and to save her worrying about food going bad in the fridge. To cook this in the oven (45 minutes from frozen) I just stab ...
Advantages: A solid effort and a nice return to form Disadvantages: A little short on overall lengh
Frozen in Time is a rather well thought out name for this album as even though this band is over two decades old, this album still retains the sound that made them famous. There is plenty of slow paced death metal that is both grindingly awesome and in some parts rather groove based and full of funk. If your looking for a new style of Obituary then you may be somewhat disappointed, but if you loved them for there distinct brand of death metal then this is the right album for you, but with the added benefit of crisp and clean production. Clocking in that little over half an hour (34 mins to be on the button), its a little short, but what is there is of a high caliber so not too many complaints. Other than that this is a solid all round album that should have you banging your head along to it in now time at all. ...
