a good choice
Advantages: greta location Disadvantages: can get expensive, access
...view. I don't know if the room I was in was renovated or not, but it was nice and clean. Service was great. They have an indoor pool and hot tub open until 11:00 each night, but they were usually packed with kids. They apparently have parking available, but I parked at the public lot next door ( $ 1 5 C D N per weekday, $ 1 0 C D N per weekend day). That turned out to be cheaper than the hotel rate, but I don't think the public lot allows in-and-out ... ...subway stations and is at the foot of Yonge Street. I'd definitely stay here again!
The Westin is a lovely hotel with a great location. We really enjoyed being near the harbourfront, with easy access to just about everything else within a few blocks' walk. We had a room in the South tower and thought it was just fine. Our view of the harbour and the islands was great from the 18th floor. We stayed there during Caribbana, so the area was packed with ...

The hotel that takes up a whole block
Advantages: Very professional, clean and comfy Disadvantages: Expensive
...cheaper.
There is another Sheraton at the airport, but this is quite a way out, so don't confuse the two if you're heading to Toronto and want to see the sights. If you accidentally book the airport one, you'll have a hell of an expensive time doing anything centrally!
Overall, we were thoroughly impressed. The underground shopping concourse, it turns out, stretches for miles under the city, and is called PATH. It is fairly priced down there, but ... ...places where food is relatively cheap. The only criticism I have of the hotel is the price of the food. Breakfast was not included in our stay, and to order breakfast from their room service or even to go into one of their own restaurants on the ground floor would have been almost twice as much as outside the hotel. However, we had a marvellous stay, and would happily use this hotel again if we went back to Toronto. ...

Simply The Best
Advantages: Excellent location, fantastically comfy rooms Disadvantages: Breakfast never changed
...but I'd stayed in a Novotel before and like it, so decided to stay here when I discovered an excellent rate including breakfast. I love hotel breakfasts but am loathe to pay for them when I'm actually there if they're an optional extra. The hotel is located on the Esplanade, very near to Union Station and a stone's throw from the CN tower, waterfront and Eaton Centre shopping mall. On the street itself there is a reasonably large and very well equipped ... ...excellent levels of service and plush surroundings, I am even more impressed. I booked on the Novotel website as it had a best-rate guarantee, though this meant I paid for the whole stay several months in advance, rather than them charging my credit card on arrival. www.novotel.com/gb/hotel-0931-novotel-toronto-centre/ ...

A decent option in the heart of Toronto
Advantages: clean, central, friendly staff Disadvantages: normally expensive, breakfast overpriced
***Location***
For those spending a few days in downtown Toronto, there is certainly no better location than this hotel. It is right in the heart of the city, in walking distance from everything a tourist may want to do: The Eaton Centre, Queen Street West, Yonge Street, CN Tower.
***Arrival***
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly front desk person who was well aware that we had booked this hotel at a bargain price via Priceline. Nonetheless, ... ...have treated a full-paying customer and even upgraded us to one of their special rooms for Starwood Preferred Guests. We also were able to choose whether we wanted to stay on a high floor or a low floor, so we opted for a higher floor.
The elevators are simply brilliant - they take you up to your room in no time. One quibble we immediately had, however, was that the room was located next to a very noisy ice-making machine. ***The room***
The room ...

luxury stay
Advantages: great hotel Disadvantages: very expensive
The windsor arms hotel is situated on st thomas street toronto.
It is a old style 4 storey building that has a beautiful elegant look to it on the out side and a fantastic inside.
This hotel has 26 suites so is quite a large establishment with a lot of helpful staff and a lot of space. It has a fitness center, swimming pool, spa and barbers shop all inside the hotel.
There is a choice of places to eat inside the hotel aswell as options of eating ... ...court yard cafe, club 22 bar, the resturant or tea rooms.
The bedrooma are available in different sizes, our room had a king sized bed with white crisp linen that matched the theme of the hotel beautifully, it had mahogony old style furniture and had sliding doors to seperate the bedroom area from the living room area that has a settee, table and chairs and desk.
The swimming pool is beautiful, well lit and a tear drop shape with steps gradually ...
