There are numerous Sunset Grill restaurants located in Toronto. Whilst visiting, I only visited the one located at; Sunset Grill Downtown Toronto 1 Richmond St. West Toronto, ON M5H 3W4 (At Yonge, one block south of Queen Subway Station), therefore this reviews only covers this restaurant, which is open daily from 7am to 4pm. The look of the sunset grill is simplicity from outside and so doesn't grab you at first, however my partner and I decided ......belows states where all the sunset grill restaurants are located in Toronto; http://www.sunsetgrill.ca/ We found the location of the Richmond St one handy as we were staying in the Sheraton Centre. It is also an excellent location for shoppers as directly across the road is the entrance to the Bay, a massive department store which connects to the fabulous Eaton Centre. I would highly recommend the Sunset Grill to anyone in Toronto looking for a ... Read review

...the building that houses the Flatiron and Firkin pub. It is one of the narrowest buildings in the city (just recently eclipsed by an office/condominium development down the street), and has an incredible historic feel to it. Even if you don't enjoy hockey, stopping by and having a drink or lunch in this pub is well worth the visit, especially in the summertime when you can sit on the patio along Front street. The bar itself is partly underground ......part of large city-wide chain, it does retain a sense of individual character. Situated across the street from two performing arts centres, it is ideal for that pre-show meal or that after performance drink. A wide range of domestic Canadian beer as well as imported draughts compliment a fairly decent menu of pub fare and daily specials. The wine list is not bad for a venue of this nature and is well-stocked with Australian, Californian and Italian ... Read review

...for seafood has also been Red Lobster - and naturally I was more than excited to have the opportunity to frequent this chain of seafood restaurants on a recent trip to Toronto. ***The history*** The first Red Lobster branch was established in Lakeland, Florida in 1968. The founders' ambition was simply to provide great service and delicious seafood to diners. As the concept was very successful, Red Lobster rapidly expanded in the South East of ......dishes found on Red Lobster's menu today, such as the infamous popcorn shrimp, snow crab and key lime pie, have indeed been around since these early years of establishment. Today there are more than 350 Red Lobster restaurants across the United States and Canada. ***Location*** There are three Red Lobster branches in the greater Toronto area, however, the one that tourists are most likely to visit during their time in Toronto is located in the ... ...***History*** Cora Mussely Tsouflidou, the founder of Cora's restaurants, was born in Caplan, a little village in the Gaspé peninsula. Cora always had a passion for fine art, but her father wanted her to become a secretary. Fate intervened in Cora's life. Although she enrolled in college to pursue her father's dreams rather than her own, she soon discovered that she was pregnant with her first child and quit college during her final year to take ......her ten years later, leaving Cora a single mother with three children to support. Cora worked extremely hard as a hostess in a well-known Montreal restaurant, learning the trade and climbing the ladder all the way to manager and junior partner. In 1986, Cora suffered a burn-out and had to resign from her position and sell all her shares. In May 1987, Cora bought a little snack-bar in Montreal. Within only a few months, Cora transformed the snack ... Read review

We weren't immediately drawn by the name but the sight of food being delivered to a table near the window and delicious food smells emanating from this restaurant soon won us over. We entered and were met by a greeter who showed us to a booth table, handed us menus and told us the name of our assigned server. The menu choice is vast and this can be a disadvantage as it took us far too long to decide what to eat and we were almost in need of a refill ......our food order. The food when it arrived was hot and plentiful and we were pleasantly suprised by the quality of our chosen dishes. Thje portions are huge but by the time we visited this restaurant we were wise to portion sizes generally in Toronto and we were prepared. The service was good and unobtrusive and the shared dessert (one dessert and two spoons was perfectly acceptable) was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and the washrooms were ... Read review
