Advantages: A tour in time. Disadvantages: High but I suffer from Vertigo and managed.
On our trips to Venice from 2002 thru 2007 the Torredell'Orologio (the clock tower in St Mark's Square) had been under wraps while being cleaned. Each year a different picture covered it (Empire State, Eifel Tower etc).
In 2008 it was uncovered and we found that tours were available, but alass they were fully booked during our time in Venice.
So this year I set out to make sure we got inside for a look see. Following a link on www.veniceconnected.com I booked 4 places on the English Language Tour for 10:00 on the Monday.
At this point I would stress the need to prebook, the tour size is limited to a maximum of 12, and you need to choose one in the language you can understand.
Also I would recommend a visit to veniceconnected.com as you can also prebook your Vapereto Tickets at a good discount, but for some reason you have to ...
Advantages: Great production Disadvantages: Poor rhymes
"Suit" is the second half of a double album by Nelly released in 2004. It has him work in his smoother form, with music which is more R&B-like, than suited to rap. This means that you have a choice with Nelly's music, whether you enjoy his grittier side, or his singing side, to then pick a CD to match your preference.
1. "Play It Off"
To set the scene for this album, we get a massive collaboratiion by Nelly as he gets a chance to rp as Pharrell does the production and singing for him. Although their work rarely comes together, when it does, such as in "Flap Ya Wings" (off "Sweat"), it is always top-quality. The pair work together amazingly, and with the futuristic Neptunes beats, and Pharrell's great falsetto singing, it all came together nicely.
**Four Stars**
2. "Pretty Toes"
I was extremely impressed by this tune ...
Advantages: Absolutely breath taking views around every corner. Disadvantages: Very expensive packed during the day with day trippers.
Venice.
I was under strict instructions to make sure I was off duty for my birthday but unfortunately I was unable to arrange to have the time off until the following week for what was supposed to be a special birthday surprise.
Unfortunately due to a couple of circumstances beyond our control I actually found out that my birthday treat was to be a trip to Venice. I couldn?t believe it as I have always wanted to go there but never imagined it would happen this way. I would have probably gone into heart failure had I found out about it at the airport so it was probably for the best I found out about it anyway.
Unable to cancel the trip we decided to go ahead with the visit and boy was I surprised and excited.
The night before the trip to Venice we had gone to London to see a show and to have dinner and due to an oversight ...
