My husband and I went to Tobago for a diving holiday last October. If I can find somewhere to put it I'll review the diving - which was fantastic - but if you are interested and I don't find somewhere to list it, drop me a comment and I'll get back to you.

We had 4 nights at the Toucan Inn and then had to move to the sister hotel - Inn on the Bay - because someone had booked the entire hotel for his 40th birthday party and was flying over family and friends. Proof positive that some people love this hotel.

The hotel is near to the airport - about a 4 minute transfer. It's also near to a set of small shops so you can stock up on beer, ice cream and sun cream. There's also a couple of fast food places if you need them.

Toucan Inn has a great reputation for its restaurant which is called Bonkers. Bonkers is the name of the hotel's tame toucan. The restaurant is semi-open air with ceiling fans. The food is good although the service is on Tobago-time so if you are in a hurry, nip down the road for a takeaway. The prices are around £10 a head with beer and water

Breakfast is good and there's lots of it.

The rooms - two types - there are rooms around a sort of courtyard. We had one of these. There are also pool-side huts - thankfully we didn't have one of those as the bands playing by the pool would have driven us crazy. The room was of moderate size with a small terrace. They have aircon. The bathrooms are clean but basic.

We paid very little for the trip so we didn't expect a lot. The hotel is on a residential road. We didn't feel very comfortable wandering around after dark.
The nearest little town is quite busy and there are lots of restaurants. But it's very very hot and humid so we didn't venture too far.

Advice - if I went again, I'd want a rental car. We were diving every morning and struggled for much to do for the rest of the day.

Good review, but I think you need to write in greater detail to make you review more helpful for other people who read it. Perhaps you should take a look at reviews by people like Torr, Richada, Seresecros... those people are geniuses, you could learn a lot from them... (!)
