If you go to Paris, I highly recommend going to see the Eiffel tower. You can have a great view of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero where you can see the gardens and the Tower at the end, to me it's the best view of the Tower you can have. Indeed, it's so big that you can't have that kind of view from up close. When you get to the Tower, you can either go up by taking the stairs or by taking the elevator to the middle of the tower.Once you are there, you can take an elevator to the top (no stairs go up, only an elevator). Is the elevator worth it? it's up to you, it's fairly expensive for an elevator ride and the line can be a bit long but it will save you a lot of time and energy, especially if you are with children or older people, it's quite a hike by stairs and you don't really see anything until you reach the middle floor anyway because the stairs are in the middle of the metallic structure, not offering that much of a view. Once you get to the middle of the tower, you can sit down, buy food and drinks, and of course enjoy the amazing view of Paris. The beverages are very expensive upstairs so I would advise buying water or other beverages before going up. You will have plenty of room to take great pictures from upstairs, even though it can get a little crowded in the summer. From there, you can choose to take an elevator to go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower. I have not been all the way up, I thought the fee was too much, but you have dinner at the roof top restaurant which I heard was an incredible experience. Last advice: you should definitely see the tower at night, the lighting is great, it's really beautiful.
