...Air Koryo is the name of the national carrier of the Democratic Republic of Korea (better known as North Korea) and practically is the only transportation system available if you wish to visit, for business or leisure, this country unless you are ready to take a long trip on board of a not really confortable train from Beijing, China to Pyongyang. Air Koryo is a name adopted in recent years as in the past the carrier name was CAAK (Civic Aviation Association of Korea). New name but very old fleet composed by a vintage collection of Russian aircrafts. Four Ilyushin 62, two Tupolev 134, two Tupolev 154, two Ilyushin 18, eight Antonov 24. Advantages: Close to Union Square and Cable cars
Disadvantages: Typical large 1000 room hotel

...Good location within one block of Market Street for cable cars to Fisherman's Wharf and three blocks from Union Square and the main downtown shopping area Hotel is next to Yerba Beuna Vista Garden (free concerts some luchtimes) and opposite the Metreon (High tech retail centre and cinema complex part run by Sony with all they latest product to try out. Marriott is divided into low and high rise towers with separate lifts, try and get room in high rise tower for views over downtown San Francisco, or atleast go to the bar on the top floor at night to sample the views. Sunday brunch exceptional good in large open plan resturant. On weekdays room rates normal high San Francisco rates especially when exibitions on at nearby convention centre. Advantages: A mixed-use building with fascinating achitectural design
Disadvantages: Not much of interesting attractions around the place

...managed by different operators. In other words, I have to wait for 6 hours in the central train station in Kuala Lumpur to catch my train to Thailand after a 4-hour long trip from Singapore. If I decided to take the bus from Singapore, it will only take 2 1/2 hours to reach Petronas. So, to make my short stay in Kuala Lumpur interesting, I decided to take the bullet train and reached the city centre within 10 minutes. Petronas is located in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur and I observed that the place is not busy compare to Manila, Bangkok or Singapore downtown areas. I took off from the train just in front of the twin towers and proceeded to adjoining area connecting to the towers which also serves as the main entrance at the foot of the building.
