Advantages: Great meeting point. Impressive statue Disadvantages: Can get very crowded
...always make a visit to Trafalgar Square when I am in London. It is very central and most days thousands of people are there. In some respects it is a great nodal point and it is impressive and there is the statue of one of Britain's great heroes Admiral Nelson to gaze at. A lot of foreign tourists congregate in Trafalgar Square ... ...certainly see a wide cross section of humanity. Another nice thing is that you see all age groups in Trafalgar Square. Advantages: A fun place to visit for all the family Disadvantages: Can be too over crowded
...always make my way to Trafalgar Square! It's justone of the many places I enjoy visiting in the big city - and it's free!!
Not only do you get pigeons in their thousands flocking here, but people come here in their droves too. Would they still visit Trafalgar Square if it was pigeonless? As you are well aware, it is famous for the feathered little creatures!
There's a statue of Lord Nelson there, and 2 huge stone statues of lions. Round about Trafalgar ... ...London. We got to Trafalgar Square for about 10pm, and found a comfortable place to sit overlooking the Square. It was a memorable night, even if we couldn't hear Big Ben strike, but that's not why I went! As there is year after year, there were people crowded there in their thousands. The security was extremely high, but a good night was had by all!
If you visit London, make Trafalgar Square one of your visits. Okay, there's not much there apart ...

...a single countown arranged and trafalgar square has a lot of clocks in buildings around it, so everyone was following a slightly different countdown which kinda ruined the moment. Anyway. If you're determined to go you won't listen to a bitter old Londoner and you'll head off anyway, and the best of luck to you. ...
