Review of Great Eastern Railway by hugokang

Advantages: very great
Disadvantages: not many person there

Great eastern railway i think it is a very good railway, although it is not the best and fastest railway. the scene along the Great eastern railway is not bad, and it is different from other place scene, and have its own characters. i think this difference is difficult to use the words to descripe it .when you expercience it and pay a travel there ,i think you will know how good it is and will would like to travel and enjoy it second time. the price ... Virgin to Virgin Trains
Review of Virgin Trains by blondgem

Advantages: more efficient, clean and cost effective
Disadvantages: bit uncomfortable

...minute of it. My Virgin train experience only covered half of my journey from Stoke on Trent station to London Euston. Not even knowing how long it would take on the train I was extremely amazed when I found out when I booked my tickets that it was a mere 1 hour and 35 minutes to actually get into London. My train arrived on time at Stoke and on I got. At the time of day I was travelling, I hadn't reserved a seat but there were plenty available ...
...clean and on regular occasions people were coming around to take away any rubbish that people may have, which I thought was very efficient instead of leaving it when the train had done its dead for the day for some poor person to have to tidy it all up. I travelled with a standard ticket and when looking at the seats they do look very comfortable, however I found after about half an hour my legs started to hurt and I was getting very niggling unlike ... No worries! great way to travel
Review of England to France - Channel Tunnel by punkessy

Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: none

i have been through Euro Tunnel twice and i must say it was a strange experience. Not a bad strange experience just the whole idea of being so deep down in the ground beneath the sea was a little daunting at first. The only way i can describe actually going through the tunnel is that its like being on a normal train in the dark and your ears pop a little. Alot of people compare it to being on an airplane but i can't because Ive not yet been on an ... Read review

MIND THE GAP...
Review of London Underground by leofluffy69

Advantages: quick, links major attractions, regular service
Disadvantages: smelly, hot, crowded and unreliable

...returned from a weekend in London and thought I should write this as I was fairly disappointed. I would imagine that for residents of London using the Underground on a regular basis this review will be off little help however for any tourists hoping to visit London in the near future this is a slight review warning you of my experience. ***LONDON UNDERGROUND*** As a teacher I have seen and taught a few lessons about transport and the underground ...
...line was added. The London Underground is also known as 'The Tube' as the tunnels look tubular shaped. I can kind of see how my hamster may feel running around small cramped tubes all day. ***UNDERGROUND LINES*** There are 12 underground lines in total. The London Underground map is easier to follow due to the colour coded lines. I found myself referring to the lines as the brown one or the blue one. I have given a bit of information on the lines ... Read review

London to Paris in 2 1/2 hours!
Review of Eurostar by md1975

Advantages: Quick, efficient, stylish, green
Disadvantages: Must book ahead or be flexible for best prices

...& I have travelled on Eurostar a number of times now, both from Waterloo & St Pancras, and have loved it every time. The new terminal at St Pancras is a particularly beautiful place to start your journey, and much more convenient if you're travelling from anywhere north of London (which cover of Britain is) By far the most civilised way to get to mainland Europe, there are no ridiculous queues for check-in/ security, you are not asked to turn up ...
...on-board. As a bonus, Eurostar is now making all journeys carbon-neutral. The new "Availability Calendar" feature on the website allows you to check for the cheapest tickets in any given week, which can be as little as £59 return between London & Paris. We're already looking forward to our next trip - a day-trip to Paris for my mother-in-law's birthday. ... Read review
