Last summer I spent a few days in Salcombe after my Mum had booked this place as a birthday present for me. It was my first time in Salcombe so I didn't really know what to expect, but my Mum had been going there for years so I was looking forward to discovering it. Fifty yards down the road in street opposite the Church are two Trattorias both were very good value & quality.
So to sum up Basic Bed & Breakfast but great Location for Centre of Rome St Peters.

a great base for a stay in Rome. You will not find any Tourist trap Restaurants as it has a Local Feel. Just behind the Hotel there is a nice square with a daily market, very good if you want to take a picnic with you. tips for restaurants at night, just wander about and pick the ones with the locals eating there, you will not be disapointed. Hotel Location you can walk to the Tiber in 5 mins turn left and walk for 20 mins and you are at St Peters. If Lazy look for the Little Electric Bus it runs around Trastevere then to the Bus Station at St Peters. If in Rome on Wednesday that is the Day the Pope has his outdoor audience ticket needed to get onto the square, these can be obtained if you Fax the vatican within two weeks of arriving.
