we are just back from toros hotel altinkum with gold trail holidays. we were originally booked to stay in the pamukkale hotel but got transfered to toros hotel 2 weeks before departure. we know the pamukkale is pretty decent but "MY GOD" what a shock we got when we walked into the toros hotel. if we kept farm animals in these conditions, we would face prosecution. the hotel is worn out. our room was tiny, smelly, fusty, in a state of decay, bad bedding ...
...toilet i have ever seen and the water (both hot and cold) was always being turned off. there were 100s of dead and alive flies in our shower room and where they were coming from, i could not find. they told me that the rooms were all the same when i demanded to be moved. they also told me that gold trail pay them very little money for the rooms and they cannot afford to maintain the place. our first and only breakfast was worse than what we put ... ...a LLandudno weekend with WA Shearings and it was appalling as was the coach driver, who was Welsh and was the most unhelpful, sarcastic person I have ever met. We left Yorkshire at 10am and got to LLandudno at 4pm! So much for a weekend as we left at 9am the next morning! Stops in LLangollen - where we spent more time in the village than we did in Llandudno before the shops shut - on the way and a detour through the Welsh countryside - the A55 is ...
...fiasco. On complaining to WA Shearings it took a month to get a reply and when we did we were told that people who book coach holiday like coaches! I am sure that if you cannot drive somewhere you do not like to sit for hours on end getting knowhere fast. I am also sure that if you book to go to Llandudno you would actiually like to see it before the sun goes down!! Overall Shearings is an absolutely appalling company with awful staff. ...the Harriet Apartments in Kardemena... Club 18-30... more like OAP holidays R us!!! Apartments were not very clean, bedding never changed and the towels only changed once! Reps (Rob and Amy) were not much better and their boss Lee, obviously didn't want to be there!
