My camp america time
Review of Camp America by emilySCW

Advantages: Work and Travel in the USA!!!
Disadvantages: 2-3 months can be a long time away, you wont have much savings

...I'm helping out on summer camp worldwide at the moment (oh yes i really do like camp that much) I went and worked at a summer camp and it was amazing!!! If anyone is thinking about going applications are open till around May. It beats working in the UK, getting paid to have so much fun is great. Apart from over the summer the money probably works out as nothing but it doesn't really matter. The J1 visa gives you plenty of time to travel after camp ...
...can egt to see quite a lot. You will end up missing camp 9 months of the year, its probably one of the better jobs abroad and maybe the most fun I have had. Useful links Apply Direct - www.campamerica.co.uk Advice & Forum - www.summercampworldwide.com ... Read review

Not what was in the brochure
Review of Hoseasons Holidays by Countrygirl71

Advantages: Well we now have a story to dine on!!
Disadvantages: Too many to count

12.08.2006 -19.8.2006 A memorable holiday for all the wrong reasons, resulting from booking a self-catering holiday for 8 people plus dog with Hoseseasons, costing a little under £1,000 The main problem with it is was the lack of space, comfort and customer service. Coming from a larger family (numerically) we are aware of how much space 8 people require. It's obvious this knowledge hasn't seeped into the consciousness of the Hoseseasons management. ...
...in the living room our cottage provided 5. As space was at so much of a premium we couldn't even bring the dinning chairs through as there wasn't enough floor space. Last time we checked a self catering cottage would have enough storage space for at least a couple of days of food. Our family would rather cook than eat out, its our thing. The kitchenette was unable to store half of the food we brought and that was after to took all the crockery out ... Read review

Ferris Holidays Review
Review of Ferris holidays by Greeny1980G

Advantages: Cheap. Affordable.
Disadvantages: Journey - but you get what you pay for.

Ferris Holidays are a coach holiday company who specialise, mainly, travelling down to the southern coast of Spain. The Costa Brava. If you are looking for a cheap 5 star hotel holiday deal, you've come to the wrong place. But Ferris Holidays do offer the cheapest enjoyable holidays you can find. Believe me. Ferris Holidays have a fleet of today-modern coaches which the option of Platinum or normal-Executive. With the Platinum travel you have to ...
...worry as I've travelled with Ferris 7 times and I see people using the toilets all the time. I have travelled with Ferris Holidays 7 times and each holiday has had it's strengths. Travelling times doesn't really bother me. If someone has told you "you're on the coach for 24 hours" they're lying to you. Averagely, the journey takes just over 1100 miles/1700 kilometres. Now the coaches are said to be limited to 62MPH/100KMH. So you can work it out ... Read review

Great value for money
Review of Eurocamp family holidays by jenmil

Advantages: Friendly service, beautiful parks
Disadvantages: non

We used Eurocamp 2 years ago in France and the experience was good. That was the first time we go with Eurocamp and the first time staying in a luxury tent. We have no complaint about Eurocamp from the begining to the end. Here's why - After we make our booking online, we received a confirmation immediately. Few days later, we received a well presented package consisting of travel tickets, accommodation vouchers, tourist guidebook of area, Michelin ...
...the facilities. - Most Eurocamp sites are very picturesque location. One first camp was in Jura. Our tent faces the lagoon and it was quiet and very scenic. Our second campsite was in Mersault, a wine region in Burgundy. We were surrounded by rows and rows of grape vine, it was a lovely experience. - The couriers at the Eurocamp make checking out easy too. They will visit us the night before departure so that we can leave without any hassle the ... Read review

Where are we sleeping tonight?
Review of Superbreak.com by Nigel712

Advantages: can buy vouchers to give as presents
Disadvantages: disorganised

...I have used Superbreak.com in the past for theatre breaks and found them to be very good value for this type of package. It was going to be my partner's birthday while we were on holiday abroad. She had already had her main birthday present of a digital camera, so that she could get used to it before the holiday, so I was looking for an easy to pack present to take with us, for a surprise for her. One thing that sprung to mind was Superbreak vouchers ...
...the prices of hotels on Superbreak.com compared to other sites, they were almost always more expensive. It was also quite difficult to find hotels that had good reviews on tripadvisor.com (which we always use to help in our selection of hotels). It seemed that bargains were available for theatre breaks but not really for ordinary hotel stays. However, eventually we came up with an inn, (henceforth referred to as 'the inn') a gastro-pub with rooms, ... Read review
