Thomas lights the way at bedtime

Advantages: Helps give your child confidence at bedtime.
Disadvantages: The character theme of the nightlight will make not suitable for some.

with ease and no force is required, there is a large screen on the base where the light shines out of, the torch can then be slotted back into the base with ease and young children will be able to operate this with ease. In night light mode the unit gives of a sufficient amount of light giving off a warm glow which gives a child enough confidence to be left alone while they are still awake. The torch is bright enough to be able to use to find your way around in the dark without the need to turn on the main light; as this is aimed towards toddlers the light is not too powerful. The torch is a nice size for little hands it is cone shaped and it has a smooth surface. There are no parts which can break off and it can?t be taken apart. ~In use~ I was quite excited to show my son his new night light when it was bedtime, as soon as I put him into ...

Review of Worlds Apart Thomas Go Glow Light

Travel light, get a travel cot

Advantages: Has many uses, easy to store
Disadvantages: Can be a little heavy,if carrying a distance, weighing in at 43lbs.

I have this Playpen/travel cot and unlike the old wooden ones which dont collapse down this one does. I brought it while my first daughter was 6 mths as I was going down to Hastings to see family and she had grown out of her moses basket.I kept it downstairs and set it up in the corner so she could play in it while I was doing dinner so I knew she was safe.I know some veiws about playpens are that they are bad and restrict freedom but I feel that if used properly then they are a god send.I dont agree with people who stick their child in a playpen 24/7 with no interaction- that is defeantly out of order. A baby needs to be on the floor sometimes to find out how to roll and move about-sense of space in comparision to their body.Reaching out of toys just out of their reach and moving, all aids and speeds up the will to get somewhere ...

Review of Graco Travel Cot

Apartments are the way forward!

Advantages: Central, stylish, affordable and just downright cool
Disadvantages: You have to make your own fry-up in the morning

I am sitting at my computer with an aching head, my hands clasped desperately round a glass of Alka Seltzer. I have just returned from a hen weekend in Manchester, and I don't think I can ever drink again. However, through the haze of an Easter weekend full of laughs, late nights, food and drink, I think I can recall enough about this establishment to give you a decent insight in to staying in apartments in the city. While looking for a venue for my hen's last weekend of freedom on the internet (if you have read any of my other reviews you will see the organization side of things often falls to me when it comes to hen weekends!) I came across the Premier Apartments. We had decided on Manchester as the city venue for the two nights of debauchery, but as it is only an hour's drive from where we live, we wanted something a little ...
