When looking for somewhere to go for my hen night (or weekend as it turned out to be) I wanted somewhere cheap not just for me but for the others as well, as most of them are on budgets too. I scowered the internet and came up with two nights including flights with a well known budget airline for £90. Bargin we said and booked it. As we were a group booking I was unable to do this on the Travelodges website so I had to phone the main reservations up. This was a simple thing to do as my call was answered very quick and rooms booked all in approximatly 5 minutes. Then everything else was done via email such as booking forms, confirmations etc.
When we got to Belfast we took a taxi to the Travelodge on first impressions it seemed fine and the recepionist was very smiley. As we arrived in the morning our rooms weren't ready so we were told to put our cases in the cupboard in reception and to come back around lunch time to see if they were ready although the offical check-in time is 3pm. Once we'd checked in we took the lift up to our rooms all of which were on different floors although that really didn't matter. The rooms were very clean and had a T.V, tea and coffee making facilities along with a hairdyer so you dont have to bring one! (more room for shoes!) The Travelodges motto is they keep the cost of the rooms low so therefore dont supply toiletries or extra towels and pillows in the rooms, but if you did need anything you only have to ask and they will get them for you. All in all the room was very clean and did the job, the bed was comfy and the wardrobes had sufficiant supplies of hangers. The bathroom was also clean with two towels supplied but these were not very big the shower was quite powerful. The hotels facilities included a bar, 24 hour reception and a vending machine in reception.
This hotel is very central for everything infact it has a bar a the back of the hotel and is not far from the world famous Europa Hotel. Before booking this hotel I read up on it and some people were complaining that there was a hostal nearby and all the homeless where hanging around but we never witnessed anything like it, also it was suggested that music from the bar at the back could be heard but we never heard anything.
This hotel would suit all ages from stag and hens to families and the disabled. Family rooms have a sofa bed in them and the disabled rooms have only showers(no baths) and they are on the lower floor. I would definatly reccommend this hotel as the service was great, rooms were clean and the price is very good esp if you get one of the bargin rooms they sometimes do.

Great Victoria street railway and bus station are nearby in answer to your question.

Nice review, but a bit hard to read - unsurprising, given the foibles of the Ciao text entry/editor interface. If you take your review into the wordprocessor on your PC/Mac, format it how you want it to appear, then paste it back into Ciao after a spellcheck, everything runs a lot more smoothly, I find. Was the hotel convenient to a train or bus station at all?
