I have to whole heartly agree with the previous reviewer, this place was awful. I'm usually a fan of travelodge given their cheap rooms and (usually) across the board standard rooms, however this place was pretty terrible. This has to be top of thier list for renovation.
An ugly high rise building that doesn't get better on the inside! DO not pay full price for rooms in this travelodge. Luckily we paid only £10, due to reserving in advance - therefore I wasn't too livid, although disappointed at the standard. As it was we were only using it as a crash pad after going to a gig.
The overall appearance of the place was shabby (except for the reception) and there was a damp musty smell throughout. The bathroom was ok but the room layout was awful - there was a huge pillar in the middle of the room!
I wouldn't recommend this at all, unless the room standard is unimportant and you're only paying £10. The standard rate for this is £65! For £110 I got 2 nights with breakfast at the Radisson - a stunning hotel! The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the location - smack bang on Broad Street - bar central.
