Advantages: Great location Disadvantages: Shabby, smelly, tired
I have to whole heartly agree with the previous reviewer, this place was awful. I'm usually a fan of travelodge given their cheap rooms and (usually) across the board standard rooms, however this place was pretty terrible. This has to be top of thier list for renovation.
An ugly high rise building that doesn't get better on the inside! DO not pay full price for rooms in this travelodge. Luckily we paid only £10, due to reserving in advance - therefore I wasn't too livid, although disappointed at the standard. As it was we were only using it as a crash pad after going to a gig.
The overall appearance of the place was shabby (except for the reception) and there was a damp musty smell throughout. The bathroom was ok but the room layout was awful - there was a huge pillar in the middle of the room!
I wouldn't recommend this at all ...
Advantages: Spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful staff. Disadvantages: In the middle of an industrial park.

Breakfast consisted of Orange juice, fruit, yogurts, toast a range of cereals and freshly cooked fried breakfast (eat as much as you like). If you are looking for budget accommodation in Birmingham, I highly recommend this Travelodge. ...

Advantages: Great day out for the family with lots to see Disadvantages: Looks a little rundown
Dudley Zoo first opened in 1937, and now stretches over 40 acres. The zoo is located a short walk from Dudley town centre (located in the West Midlands), and is not far at all from the bus station. There is no train station in Dudley but there are buses that run to and from many different places in the West Midlands located near by, including Birmingham and Wolverhampton. There is also a small car park next door to the zoo.
Located on a hill, the castle is the remains of what was once a great building. The zoo is built around the castle and you automatically get free access to the castle upon entering the zoo. As it is located on a hill, there are some steep ramps and climbs in places which will make it difficult for wheelchair users to access. There used to be a cable car which you could take up to the castle grounds, however this ...
